Antigua and Starting for Peten

My stay in Antigua was a big success. I liked the place, it is very relaxing and cafes have a lot of music. So at night I went often to these cafes. Sometimes you had to look for the right one, but there are always opportunities. Sometimes I went on my own, sometimes with other students.
School was also very good. I learnt a lot, although the theory was well known to me, it was very good to doe. My last day: emission of the certificates was big fun. I had to speech, which I did by heart and I felt very at ease.
I visited some touristic places: Finca Azotea (coffee plantation and musical instruments museum), some museums, Finca Valhalla (Eco-Macademia plantation), San Antonio Aguas Callentes, Cerro de Cruz and San Juan de Obispo. I am not complete on this, but those were the most important ones.
Staying at my guest family was very good. Very hospitable and a good practice.
Saturday night I left Antigua by bus (a very luxurious one) for a nights ride to Flores. The aitconditioning was too cold, but further it was a good and safe ride.
At 6 am on sunday I arrived at my hotel: hostal Los Amigos. Very nice to stay there. I could find a room (simple, clean, very tropical (no windows), like a tree-house) so that I do not need to sleep in a hammock.
I discovered Flores and lost my way around San Miguel. The hotel owner tries to arrange my hiking tour to El Mirador, it will take some time to organize it, because I would like to do it with a group. The weather is good: hot and sunny, but in the afternoon it poured with rain.
