At last I seem to have success in arranging my hiking trip towards El MIrador. I tried to get into contact with people who also wanted to hike. Most people do not have enough time for that. But at last, I will start tomorrow with Julio (Sp), Michael (Ger), Jody (Austr) and Carly and Robert (USA). Seems to be a nice team. From tomorrow I am for 5 days part of the rainforest and the world of the Mayas.
In between I have done a lot of things around Flores. Tikal was great, impressive. I walked, canoed. swam around, in and on the lake. Visited the zoo and the parque where they try to reintegrate wild animals. Very interesting.
The hostal is a big success and I feel very at home in this place where you can meet so much people of different kind, with only one common passion, gues what.
